ABOUT BRYAN SCHNEIDER
Following a 20-year career as a marketing communications leader at esteemed colleges and universities, I now create quality, engaging content and impactful communications strategies for clients around the world.
Prior to going freelance, I was Director of Communications for the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the University of California, Riverside, where I built a robust communications and marketing program that helped raise the visibility and rankings of the college and university.
Other roles include leading communications for the prestigious Claremont Colleges in Southern California and overseeing award-winning projects as Marketing and Web Director at the University of Southern California (USC) Health Sciences campus. At USC, I built an in-house marketing operation from the ground up and helped lead a major national marketing campaign for the medical enterprise. Web traffic and patient referrals to Keck Medicine of USC skyrocketed.
I've received dozens of awards including the PRism Award of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America, a Regional Gold Award from the American Marketing Association, various awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, two APEX publications awards, and over a dozen Healthcare Advertising Awards.
Outside of work, I enjoy music, history, fiction, and hiking with my partner, Andrea, and sons Brendan and Graham.
